This Is What You Need To Hear Right Now: It's ok to be a little delulu sometimes...
We'll admit: we have a love-hate relationship with the word flirting. If you have this same response, it may be because flirting can feels cringy and contrived. But firting absolutely can build rapport, connection, and that magic that leads to another date.
When we heard our guest Benjamin Camras speak on the topic, it resonated: it's all about finding a way to authentically flirt so you're showing interest in a way that doesn't feel forced. You don't feel like a shell of yourself acting in a certain way. But you're bringing out the playful and fun parts of your personality that draw the right person to you like a magnet.
This conversation is filled with so many nuggets. But we'll leave just one for you now: it's ok to be a little delulu sometimes.
Yup, you heard us right. Because so many times we're asking: Were they interested? Were they flirting or just being nice? I couldn't tell...
But sometimes you need to just assume they are! And go with it. Because that could open up a world of possiblities. Because of course someone would be flirting with you! And if they weren't, then it's totally their loss (see, the healthy level of delulu is kicking in...)
