❤️Scary Behavior To Watch Out For This Halloween | The Dateable Dish

October 31, 2025

Hello Dateables,

Happy Halloween everyone! There's a lot we need to wade through on the day to day of dating – the web of red flags, ghosters, zombie exes – so let's officially bury it all today!

Which is why we wrote a eulogy to modern dating culture as we know it. Peace out ghosters, witches, and warlocks ✌️

This Is What You Need To Hear Right Now: Halloween is the BEST time to meet people in the wild

While we don't have the official stats, we know there is no easier day in the year to go up to a stranger and make small talk. When someone is dressed up as a Labubu or one of the witches from Wicked, you literally do not need an opening line. So if you're on the fence about Halloween this year, this is your sign to go out. Because Halloween is hands down the BEST day to be single (and it falls on a Friday after all!)

❤️ Share with a friend that also needs to hear this as well.

What We're Up To This Week

🎧  New Episode Alert! The Art of Moving On (After Heartbreak). Make sure to subscribe on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts for the latest #brunchtalk out Sunday too!

🐞 Julie is dressing up as a ladybug. She is reusing last years costume (shhhh don't tell anyone)

🐢 Yue is playing tennis as a Ninja Turtle for a game of Halloween Tennis.

Book Review of the week

"I heard this duo speak and take questions at a library in Southern California. I've listened to way more than my share of dating seminars and coaches and have heard a lot of contradictory advice. These woman bring a more nuanced, fresh view. Not your mother's advice. They narrate the audible version and it's worth a listen."

Pick up the book (or audiobook) now if you haven't yet. And leave us a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or wherever else you got the book (Audible, Barnes & Noble, Spotify, etc.)
